Willy Pike was a dear gentleman ,his little wire rimmed glasses and his silvery grey shopkeepers coat ,collar and tie always had a welcoming smile and polite welcome ,but his wife as I remember was a very abrupt lady with a very sharp tongue as specially to Willy bless him.

  1. As a kid I had s Sat job riding the old bike with the basket on the front delivering veg. I will never forget Leaholes Avenue and pushing it up the hill. Then riding down with no brakes. Mike Wright

  2. I remember those days many happy memories. Used to live in wonnacotts road. And ended up working for ATS. So a regular stop for me. Kevin Allen
